Welcome to the CLGK Web Site, your source for club news

CLGK NEWS
We had 39 hardy golfers participate in our Fall Tourney at Coyote Run. The day started
out overcast, then it drizzled on and off for a while before turning into a downpour
for some of our later groups. They all finished, though. You just can’t keep a dedicated
golfer down!
It’s hard to believe, but our Season Finale is just around the corner. Where does
the time go? As usual, the tournament will be held at Silver Lake, SOUTH COURSE,
on October 2nd. First tee time is 9:32 a.m. The format is 2-person best ball family/friends.
Cost will be $61 to ride and $45 to walk. Lunch consisting of hot dog, chips and
drink is included. If you do not have a partner, the tournament directors will find
one for you; just let them know. There are two divisions for this outing: Male/Female
and Male/Male.
If you have not already registered to play, please contact Ramune Dagys (ramunedagys@gmail.com) by this Saturday, Sept. 24th.
And you also have to contact Anne Antanaitis if you intend to come to the Club Banquet
immediately following the tournament. Many of you signed up and paid for the banquet
yesterday. For those who did not, contact Anne by one of the following methods:
Western Union, U.S. Postal Service, telephone, e-mail or carrier pigeon. You can
reach Anne at 708-301-8604 or jtginc@msn.com. The cost is $20 for adults and $15
for juniors under 12, and should be paid in advance. A cash bar will be available.
We will have the usual raffle table, so if you have prizes to donate, they will
be greatly appreciated.
SALFASS had 78 participants this year and results are now posted on the club website.

Membership Dues
Club dues of $40 adults, $10 juniors 15 to 18 years, under 15 years free, can be
paid at anytime but must be paid prior to June 1st. If you have not paid you will
be removed from the handicap list. Please make your check payable to "CLGK" and
give your check to Chet Baksys at this tournament or mail it to him at:
